Hi love, I am so happy you are here.
You might be at the beginning of a life-changing journey, and by being here you understand that you have options, you see? Having options is often a sign of wisdom. It shows that you've considered different possibilities in your childbearing journey and are open to exploring various paths before making a decision. It means that you are ready to OWN your experience and INFLUENCE your path. And that alone is admirable to me.
As part of my evolution of becoming a midwife, I realize that there are many ways to be a midwife, to “mother” the mothers, and to help you discover YOUR intuitive wisdom of becoming a mother. I wish you a safe and inspiring journey – Body, heart, and mind.
Much love, Neta
“What if I told you that birth is opportunity
To discover, not control
To lean into and not away from what you feel
To trust your body
To trust your instincts
What if I told you
That its worth feeling?
That you don’t have to be afraid
You are stronger than you know
You are more capable that you can imagine
Birth is challenging and beautiful, and gritty and sacred.
And you can do this!”

Our philosophy at Wise Womb Midwifery
My goal as a certified professional midwife is to support women through restoring the ancestral wisdom that we all carry. You will reconnect to your body’s ability to give birth and set the grounds to parenthood with confidence and excitement.
During our journey together we will focus on:
Supporting you to make informed decisions by knowing your options, understanding the risks and benefits of each one and finding what is right for you.
I firmly believe that guiding individuals through the process of making informed decisions is a cornerstone of a supportive and empowering approach to healthcare, especially during pregnancy and childbirth. When families are provided with accurate information about their options, they are better equipped to make choices that align with their values. YOU are in charge.
Educating you and your family by providing resources, information, classes and books while creating a safe space to ask questions, raise doubts, share, cry, and laugh.
You will openly express what matters to you. This fosters trust and helps address any misconceptions or fears.
Empowering you and your family. When you are respected you will take control of your own power and set the foundation of your parenthood journey. It doesn’t matter if it's your first birth or your 10th, with every birth you are reborn as a mother. My part aside from keeping you and your baby safe is to guide you through this journey by finding your power and confidence. I will be by your side. You will learn, grow, and be proactive in your care. We work together.
I believe reframing the birth process as a normal human rite of passage, instilling a deep understanding of the birthing body, and swapping fear-based narratives for confidence, leads to the best birth outcomes.
Meet Neta
I am Neta, a licensed and certified professional midwife serving expecting mothers throughout the Dallas areas. I offer personalized care by prioritizing empowerment, meaning, and support through the mother's journey. And focusing not only on the physical component of childbirth but also the emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects. With over 5 years of experience, I provide comprehensive midwifery care, including prenatal appointments, labor and birth support (including home birth options), and postpartum care.
My midwifery journey began with my first birth. I didn’t ask questions I didn’t doubt authority. Pregnancy and birth seemed so huge. My OB was a kind man who had 15 minutes for every prenatal visit. He answered my questions but never addressed the emotional transformation I was going through. I felt like my BODY was monitored, but my HEART was not nurtured. I had 2 hospital births before I finally understood that this was not the care that I longed for. My third pregnancy was a healing experience with a midwife by my side and a powerful home birth.
Today, my heart and soul are filled with love and respect for the birthing body, baby and the journey they go through together. And with this knowledge and understanding I am ready to serve you.
I am ready to hold your hand while you rediscover your powers as a woman and your body’s ability to birth. I am ready to guide you through all the questions, concerns, and doubts on your way to becoming a mother. I am ready to empower you with the wisdom of midwifery.
It will be my honor to serve YOU.

Empowered Birthing Journeys: Why DFW Families Choose Neta
Joanna, TX
I met Neta during my third pregnancy and first attempt at a natural birth. Immediately I loved her personality and felt comfortable with her guiding me through my pregnancy. So when I got pregnant again I knew I wanted Neta to be by my side again. Both times I have felt comfortable, educated, and safe in my pregnancy. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Neta. She is kind, caring, knowledgeable, laid back, loving, and just such a kind puresoul. She made sure my last pregnancy was a magical experience and I will forever be grateful to her for that. I went into labor excited, happy, and ready. When I felt overwhelmed she helped make sure I stayed focused. She made sure to follow my plan and be the support that I needed to ensure I got the birth that I wanted. Highly recommend her care.
Molly & Clint, TX
If you desire a midwife who cares not only for your physical wellbeing but equally your mental and emotional wellbeing, Neta is a fantastic choice for midwifery care. She was with us as a student for my first home birth of our second child, and as our primary midwife for the homebirth of our third child. Appointments with Neta were not only informative and thorough medically, but also were so calming emotionally and spiritually as she helped us process emotions from previous births and prepare mentally for the upcoming one. Neta answered every question and we loved that if she felt she did not have an adequate answer, she would always do more research and get back to us. We had our kiddos (toddlers) at each appointment and Neta was so so patient with them, whether it was playing with them while we talked or helping them "help her" with the different tasks during the appointment. She is very intentional to respect mom's wishes, by ensuring informed consent for any and every procedure/plan/etc, and allowing time for thoughtful consideration by the family for birth plan options. During labor and birth she was everything I needed, whether that was a hip squeeze or words of encouragement or just a silent presence in the room, she absolutely instinctively was in tune with me as a laboring mom. She had taken the time to really know what we were hoping for in our birth space and was so considerate to help that happen! We could state 100 more reasons why we loved having Neta as our midwife and would wholeheartedly recommend her for any expecting mom, especially those who truly want a holistic mind/body/soul care plan for their pregnancy and birth.
Amelia, TX
Neta was my midwife for my baby boy and I can’t say enough good things about her and the whole experience. She made me feel empowered, confident, and at peace my whole pregnancy. I looked forward to every appointment. Neta made my home birth dreams come true. My mind was at ease the whole labor and postpartum because I knew her and the rest of my birth team were so skilled and knowledgeable. To her you are so much more than just another patient, she made me feel seen, valued and loved. I highly recommend working with her.
Common Questions About Midwifery Care
What is a midwife? Midwife definitions is “with-women”, midwives are care providers for healthy pregnant women who seek holistic care along with counseling and education. Midwives and their clients will create individualize care for the pregnant woman and her family. According to the World Health Organization (WHO): “midwife is a person who, having been regularly admitted to a midwifery educational program, duly recognized in their country in which it is located, has successfully completed the prescribed course of studies in midwifery and has acquired the requisite qualifications to be registered and/or legally licensed to practice midwifery. The midwife is recognized as a responsible and accountable professional who works in partnership with woman to give the necessary support, care and advice during pregnancy, labor and the postpartum period, to conduct births on the midwife’s own responsibility and to provide care for the newborn and the infant. This care includes preventative measures, the promotion of normal birth, the detection of complications in mother and child, the accessing of medical care or other appropriate assistance, and the carrying out of emergency measures. The midwife has an important task in health counseling and education, not only for the woman, but also within the family and the community. This work should involve prenatal education and preparation for parenthood.”
What are the benefits of using a midwife? One of the main reasons why families choose midwifery care is to experience natural birth and avoid unnecessary hospital interventions. Benefits of receiving midwifery care include: Decrease risk of needing cesarean. Reduce rate of labor induction and augmentation Reduce use of regional anesthesia Decrease infant mortality rate Decreased risk of preterm labor Decrease 3 rd and 4 th degree perineal tears. Lower cost Increase choice in care Increase satisfaction with quality of care.
How is a community birth- out of hospital birth, different from birth in a hospital? Its all about policies right? In a community birth you will be able to follow your own “policies”, moving, eating and drinking is an essential part of the birth dance you and your baby will create. As a midwife I can assure you that I have caught babies in ANY position the mother chose to be in. You will give birth to your baby in the environment of your choice (dim light, essential oils, music, candlelight, birth tub etc.) the environment that will make you feel most comfortable, safe and relaxed. At 36 weeks we will have a home visit where we will rehearse the big day, we will plan the setting, listen to your vision and set expectation with your birth team. Hospitals have policies that sometimes interfere with the “birth dance” which can cause unnecessary intervention that can lead to unexpected outcomes (which means longer recovery) or interfere with the crucial bonding time (“golden hour”) with your baby.
Is an out of hospital birth safe? When we compare two low risk women with healthy pregnancies side by side, the location of birth makes the difference in the number of interventions and risks they have. When a woman has a midwife and plans to birth in the community setting (home or birth center) she is much less likely to: Be induced. Induction is the most common factor in primary cesareans. Have continuous monitoring which has been shown to increase cesarean without improving the condition of the baby. Have an IV which affects the mother’s mobility and results in more use of pain medications. Have unnecessary vaginal exams which increase infection and also increase likelihood that their labor will be augmented with synthetic hormones which have consequences. Even the emotional shift that happens when a healthy woman walks into a hospital and has to wear a gown (and sometimes mask) can alter her hormones making it more likely to get synthetic hormones.
What if the birth doesn’t go as planned? Our top priority is safety. We are trained to detect any challenges that can arise in labor and birth. We carry medications and medical equipment such as IV fluid, oxygen and hemorrhage medications in addition to traditional midwifery tools (herbs, homeopathy, essential oils etc.), in a case of a challenge that would need a higher level of treatment we will arrange a transfer to the closest hospital or hospital of our choice, depends on the situation. We will work together on an emergency plan prenatally so all challenges can be met, and all questions will be answered.
what is the different between doula and midwife? Midwives and doulas complement each other beautifully in the birth world. The main difference between them is their role and their training. Midwives provide a blend of medical and holistic care, managing the mother and baby's clinical needs while addressing their emotional and social well-being, promoting a healthy and balanced childbirth experience. Midwives serve as the primary caregivers in many birth settings and are capable of handling both normal and some complicated pregnancies and births. Doulas, on the other hand, focuses on non-medical support, enhancing the emotional and physical comfort of the mother throughout the childbirth journey, ensuring a positive and empowering experience. They focus on the overall well-being of the mother and family, offering comfort measures such as massage, breathing techniques, and positioning suggestions during labor.
